Color my gun

Cerakote: armor that looks this good

Cerakote H-Series is the world’s strongest firearm coating — a thin ceramic-polymer finish with unmatched corrosion, chemical and abrasion resistance. Over 100 colors. Endless patterns. Applied in-house.

Where to start

Dream it first — we’ll match it

The first step is deciding what you really want from the project. Protection from scratches and rust? A finish that matches a theme or design you love? Or something that just plain looks cool — or all three?

Pictures of other projects are your best friend. Bring us your inspiration and we’ll work hard to match the design you have in mind — solid colors, multi-color camo, battle-worn, stencil work and more.

  • 100+ H-Series colors — and we can blend patterns across them
  • Tight-tolerance safe — H-Series is the choice where fit matters
  • Beyond firearms — knives, automotive parts, electronics & more

The process

From bare metal to baked-on armor

Curious what happens between drop-off and the range? Here’s the short version.

01

Degrease & Strip

Parts are disassembled, degreased and cleaned so nothing interferes with adhesion at high temperature.

02

Bead Blast

A uniform blasted surface gives the ceramic coating the profile it needs to bond permanently.

03

Spray the Design

Your colors and pattern are sprayed in controlled coats — solids, camo layers, stencils and effects.

04

Bake, Cure & Reassemble

The finish is oven-cured, the firearm is reassembled and function-checked. Then you hit the range.

Mail-in service

Not local? Ship it to us

Customers outside driving distance mail firearms to the shop every month. Ship UPS or FedEx with Adult Signature required, include your contact info and project notes, and we’ll call to confirm the design before any work begins.

We’re in the process of obtaining the Class 7 Manufacturing addition to our FFL, which will allow contract coating work in the future. Ask us where things stand.
